Never In A Million Years -

WOW - Never in a million years would I have expected to hear from our Utah National Guard General in Command, "You are ALL being laid off as of 30 June 2009." He has decided to go with a private company, but we are not allowed to know who it is. When we asked about getting on with the company, we were only told that they already had their own people and didn't need us.

We all knew the part timers were getting laid off, but we really didn't think they would lay off all of the full timers. One of my co-workers has been at this job 29 years. Besides being laid off, for our last three and a half months we all have to take a pay cut so none of us make more than $13.28 an hour. For some of us that is quite a cut.

I have already applied to some places for a job and am going to keep applying til something happens. It's amazing the loyalty that our amazing General in Command has shown us after all of the loyalty and hard hours that we have all put in to protect our country and soldiers that are home from war.

Simply Amazing ! Well as I will always believe, "God Bless this Country".
